Hey all I`m thinking "Racing Stripes" Take a look and tell me what you think.
I have attached these to my sig. I have in my mind how I will do the back and the roof of the car , but not so sure about the hood and front. I am open for suggestions and pics. I am not sold on the stripes yet, but I`m at a point I can play with it before I finish prepping for the paint job.

stripes and vettes go together like oil and water in my opinion

It looks cool on the back, but I'm not sure how the front will look. As I recall there was a rebuilt '69 in the magazine "Vette" about a year ago. It was blue with white striping - looked awesome.

What does the stripe do on your decklid?
Personally, I like the ZL-1 stripe and I'd seriously consider doing it to my car if it was in the bueget...which it isn't.

Will the car be red with the black stripe? I think it all depends on the color of the car, and the color of the contrasting stripe.

The stripe goes all the way to the lisence plate bezel. It is also as wide as the bezel.

I like stripes too.
I also like the black on red color scheme.
On your car I think I would have the two stripes continue to the hood but stop or fade just at the end of the hood maybe...
I have been thinking about a single wide stripe that starts at the L88 scoop and goes all the way to the back, then I'm undecided if it should stop at the spoiler, go down the back, or flare out to cover the entire back end ala 'Motion' Vettes.

Racing Stripes can look great, however they attract even more attention. Had on one car & repainted to remove.
