Coolant capacity 73BB

Could someone tell me capacity of the cooling system on a 73 BB.

My Chiltons manual says 24 qts for a BB

Not for sure, but it's a lot. Never saw so much antifreeze come out of a car when I changed the lower rad hose on mine :eek:
