What do you think of this paint job.
My dad came up with a paint job idea and I would like to know what you think of it. The idea is paint his car white over red (two tone paint) with a blue stripe going from the beginning of the hood scoop and back. By tomorrow I can have some pics posted of the idea.

that sounds iffy.. If anything say red over white cuz white doesnt cover so well over red.. turns pinkish..

Well, since you asked my opinion, I think it sounds rather ugly. 3 colors on a car cannot be a good idea. Just my opinion of course. If you like it do it. :cheers:

maybe if you paint the car white first, then paint the lower half red, clear coat it... an put blue flames or a row of blue stars down the side or something.... i just dont think that it would flow all that well, would be nice to see a photoshop of this tho.... maybe if you call up a local painter, he can scetch an idea of what it would look like

If i was going to paint my car a color other than stock, i would paint it a color that no one else had but still use one color. :U

Like most things, if it's done in a way that accent's the natural lines of the car, I think it could be made to work. But I'd probably do some art work first either on paper or on a pic first to make a determination.
