275 is a fair price, and if they have it in stock jump on it. When I went to buy mine, every vendor was out of stock!!! I ended up paying too much but I finally got it from Ecklers. I think I paid 300 bucks or maybe even a little more.

Frank,
Bair's is a great place. I have bought from them and recommended them to club memebers for the last couple of years. Usually the woman who answers the phone is Cindy or Brian Bair. I never had a problem with their service or parts and they get here in 2 days in most cases.
Lastly if you can't find one then a good sheet metal fab guy may be able to repair yours, depending on how bad it is.

Bairs is the place again....
but if you can or know someone who is willing, I think fabing one up is a much better idea, difficult project, but do-able....for one thing, at least with the one I bought at carlysle Pa. the metal gauge was considerably thinnner than stock...so it knocked off about 5-10 lbs off the front end...
