Does anyone have Jet Hot Sterling?
I am considering sending my Hooker headers and sidepipes to Jet Hot as they are starting to yellow. Their website claims it shines like highly polished aluminum. Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone have a picture they could post?
Thanks,
Thanks,

This is the best shot I have of the header/pipes. This is Jet Hot's sterling finish.
It will polish out quite a bit more if you work on it :smash:

Wow, those do look nice. Thanks for the picture.
Is this picture when they are brand new because they look perfect? Have they been pretty easy to keep looking good? Are you happy with them or have there been any problems with the finish? I think this is the way I'm going, I emailed them for a qoute to refinish mine. Now if i can find some huge boxes to ship them in.
Thanks again,
Dennis

Yea I'm completely satisfied. I think it's the only way to go.
Granted I only have a few hundred miles on them but they seem bullet proof.
Like I mentioned before you can wet sand and polish them like paint if you want, but keep in mind that removes some of the finish

Dennis, Jet-Hot will send you boxes to ship them your headers in. Get a quote from Airborn coatings. I am near their Hartford CT. site so I am going to drive them up. They also have a spot in NC and somewhere else. Their number is 800-986-4646. They do the coatings for some Nascar teams and other racers.

WHOOPS!! sorry about the extra wide pic!
Mine sure are pretty basement furniture!! :( I may put them on this spring!
I dont know if Todd at JET-HOT is still giving discounts to corvette forum members. Anybody tried him lately? It worked for me - got about 10% off their delivered price. (I bought my headers direct from JET-HOT) MJ
