Wow!!What a bunch of nice guys!!!!
I posted the topic,{build a corvette or GTO}, and what a bunch of great replies I recieved!!! Thanks a lot guys, really made me feel at home. Well, I think it`s going to be the Corvette first, now the problem of which one???
I`ve built half dozen small blocks, and a couple big blocks in the past, and because I had a big block 68 roadster before I think I`ll go that route again!!! So that pretty much rules out the early cars,{57 would have been my choice}!! So 63-67 roadster will have to do!!
Now is when I`ll **** a few people off, as I won`t leave it stock! I will find a car that has allready been {butchered} though!!! I really like putting on my own personal touches{a good reason for going with the Corvette}, and it will be a 502 4sp car, It will be black, and It will be detailed to the max! Sorry guys, I just really like the fender flares and rear spoilers on this vintage cars!!!
Thanks again, I`m sure that we`ll be conversing in the future!!!

HasBen,
Take the best of both worlds and build both of them. I am finishing up on my modified 78 and getting ready to do some more on my 68 GTO.

Sounds like a plan to me. :D My cars are totally stock, but my husband's 65 hasn't much of an original part on it - other than the VIN plate and some frame bits. ;) Click on the 3 cars in my sig to go to our homepage. You can see Greg's 'saving' a vette, not 'sacrificing' a remotely restorable one. :) Welcome to the forum. ~Juliet
