Quality Car Wash, Detail, and Wax in Kansas City, MO?
Hello! I just moved to Oak Grove, MO (25 miles E of KC, MO) and am in desperate need to have my '76 Stingray washed, waxed, and detailed. Does anyone know a good place where I can take it? My Townhome Complex doesn't allow cars to be washed in the driveways
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

The poster's name is Gwendolyn. I have a feeling she wouldn't be interested in my favorite style of a car wash.

You can always look in your local phone book for auto detailing companies. We have a few here in Columbia that will do a complete inside and outside detail including wax. That might get you a few options. Also call around to some body shops as they can sometimes use a detail shop to clean the inside after all the body work dust has gotten into the car.

Redman, Durango Boy, and 77Vette--haha, I'm always up for a good laugh If they were washing cars with the top half of their body it wouldn't be a problem for me--it's the fact that I'll get a fine if wash the Vette at my place I actually thought about working at Hooters...they were in need of a Manager

tears indeed. that really stinks. i know that this may not neccessarily kosher, but what if you were to BEND the code and maybe once a week just wipe down your car with some spray detailer and a microfiber. personally i haven't "WASHED" my vette in ages. this method is quicker, better for the paint job, and also wontget water and soap everywhere on the driveway. i understand that poossibly this code was set becuase some people tend to think that washing your own car appears "pedestrian" and cheapens the neighborhood.... and in that case, well . just a thought. GOOD LUCK!
