Default “Precious Bodily Fluids” for the Car

“Precious Bodily Fluids” for the car.

We, my daughters and I, have been doing a frame off on a 1969 convertible for some time now. We are getting to the point where we need to start filling up on fluids. Since there is a wealth of experience out here on CF I thought that I would post the question of what to use in the car.

Specifics: In Southern California at sea level, freeway driving speeds to 90 MPH for extend periods of time, no racing, aluminum block and heads, 10.3:1 compression, four speed, 3.08:1 positraction, AC, PS, PB.

So here is my list of consumables, please pipe in your thoughts on what is the best to use for each. Also the movie from which I quote in the title for some fun.

Fuel:
Unocal 91 gasoline.

Engine oil:

Coolant:

Transmission fluid:

Power brake fluid:

Power steering fluid:

Steering box grease:

Wheel bearing grease:

Suspension grease:

Posi fluid:

Posi additive:

Windshield washer fluid:

AC Refrigerant:

AC oil:

Thanks in advance, George

I can't help you on all of them, but here is what I use:

Oil: Havoline 10W-40
Rear-end oil: Valvoline 80W-90 gear oil
Posi additive: 2 bottles from my local Chevy dealer
