Has anybody got a picture of the cutout in the rear bumper cover for the licence plate light? Mine has an irregular shaped hole that I want to fix before getting the cover painted.

Mine is also a bit of a hack job. Glad it can't be seen (normally). Looking at the back side you can see a detent of how it possibly would be cut out carefully, but I would recheck this with the light assembly before I did any trimming. Once you cut it, you can"t put it back.

I believe that the odd shaped hole is correct.
I would leave it alone

Mine also looks like yours Paul....a rather large and odd shaped cutout for such a small light. :rolleyes:

Thanks - you've saved me a bunch of work. I'd got some plastic sheet, glue & filler to make the hole the correct shape. I just couldn't believe that it came out of the factory with a random shaped hole for the light.
So, I can send it off for painting now :)
