I believe the roller they used is a solid roller. Look at the chart at the bottom of the 4'th page, they lashed the roller cam at .020 instead of 1/4 turn like you would a hydrolic.

Chris - I hate comp cams web site :mad :mad :mad

You can't look up the part number given in the article - It just says give them a call then you have sit and wait through page after page of BB cams. I sent them e-mail 2 years ago that their site sucks. Before I was trying to get info on a custom made to my specs solid roller cam with sleeved gear.

I got out of the article that it was a H-Roller :confused:

The 288AR is a solid roller. A few guys here on the forum are running it.

For what it is worth,I still only run roller lifters in motors with more than 270@0.50. Man I gotta tell you the extra HP verses the reliability just is not worth it. A little of the old with some of he new goes along way.

I am not going to run 5/30 in any motor I build! you guys that like 3n1oil go ahead!
