Can you tell me how the front grill supports are mounted? I think the AIM has it backwards, can you tell me where they attach and with what? Pics would be very appreciated.

All 4, I can tell the orientation, but I might have to drill some new holes.

They attach to the lower fibreglass panel just under the parking lights. with two bolts going upward and one at the top near the top. Also, the park/turnsignal light housing has two attach points that the grill actually mounts to. They tend to stress the grille so you may wnat to "adjust" the mounting holes slightly. :D

I put mine in the way the AIM shows. The inner two connect to the headlight supports at the top. Unless you bought new supports there should be tapped holes up there. If the holes now in are not located where you need them, re-drill them. All four supports bolt down thru the fiberglass at the bottom so that the bolt heads would show from outside the body except that the bolts for the inner two are under the bumperettes.

Before drilling the body put it all together align everything and let the supports hang, that is the best way to get it all to line up straight. Then drill the body. Take you time.

I would post photos but haven’t even got around to getting a digital camera. All the extra money goes into the car. If no one else pipes in with photos, I can borrow a camera and try to post for you.
