i put my fuel pressure guage on to check it and i noticed its bouncing between 4 and 8 lbs. alot flickering back and forth..also if i put my hand on the line coming off of the pump its pulsating..the same way the guage is bouncing..havent looked to see whats doing it yet..i figured i see what you guys think first...a couple of things first..all new lines return and feed and vent line..2 new fuel filters ....what ya think?fuel pumps about 1 year old.

Could the fuel return line check valve(is there one?) not be closing( might be sticking open), causing the pressure to be bled off?

Or the engine wants to much fuel( more than the pump can deliver)

Doubt this will help but I figured I'd try anyways.

Hope its an easy fix.

Remove the pressure gage and check the line to see if it's still pulsing. If not then it's the gage, it needs a restrictor in the line to it. If you still have a pulse then check the return line for blockage or a kinked line.

well i just put the return line in and i know its not kinked but ill check to see if its blocked.going back into the tank.i took the guage back out and its still pulsing i noticed you can see the hose at the pump actaully pulsing now.like a heart beat..maybe lars will see this and give his imput too.
