Valve Cover Bolts?????
I bought some new chrome valve covers for my baby, along with the looms for the spark plug wires. The problem I am having is finding some nice Valve Cover bolts. I would prefer red anadized aluminum one's, but chrome would work as well. All I seem to come across in the autoparts stores are those 3 or 4 inch wing stle that won't fit due to the A/C compressor. Does anyone know where I can purchase some?????

Don't know about the red or chrome, but you could consider Stainless Steel, can be purchased at many local hardware stores. Just 1/4" NC thread, and get the right length, maybe 1"?

ARP Stainless Steel Bolts #070-400-7505 from Jeg's. They are $13.99 but are better than those darned wing style valve cover hold downs (I don't like those things).

I know mine are not pretty but I used studs. I figured the valve covers would be off a lot and with aluminum heads I did not want to mess the threads up. It also holds the gasket nicely in place.

Moroso makes them in a Red Anodized, they are straight, about 3" high, and have a "grip" in the metal for something to grab onto..

Thanks to Bence13_33 I now have a nice set of Chrome Valve Cover bolts on the way. He pointed me in the right direction and I found some made by MrGasket that have Hex Heads for $9.99 a set. Thanks to everyone who responded. :D
