Sorry to say, the only ways you have available are not fun.
1) Find a build sheet (dash, tank, under a seat, maybe elsewhere...)
2) Get the owner history, and talk to the original owner (if still alive)
3) Find out where it was sold from originally, they may still have the sales sheet.
Luckily, I have two of the three. For examples:
1) Build Sheet (assuming it came from dash)
3) Sales Receipt
