Congrats Len! I'd like to borrow it. :D You can keep the snow, though.

At least we agree on the vette thing, I guess we'll have to go drag racing with the trucks.

WOW. Your wife will be king of the soccer moms now! Just messin' with ya ;). Seriously though, that's a nice ride even though it is a Ford.

I bet it's a blast to drive that monster and it looks really nice too! I'm sure that ya'll will enjoy it. We have had our V-10 4X4 Dodge truck for about three years now. Lot's of grunt for pulling heavy loads.
Be prepared for for numerous diesel vs. V-10 debates.
I really like the diesels too but I have no regrets for owning the V-10 and would buy another one. It fits our needs.
Betcha can't wait to take a road trip in that bad boy eh!

I hate Fords too. But I must my family rented an RV and the V10 is a strong motor.

We were so accustomed to driving the Suburban, anything smaller just seemed tiny. Its only 2 inches taller than me!
Red73---Now that's huge. I think your tailgate is in another zip code! :D
Dave---Sure you can borrow it....maybe we can play trading monsters. You take the Excursion and I'll test drive Rolling Thunder. :D
It wasn't until a few years ago that I owned my first *ord. I was always a GM guy. I now have three and am very satisfied with the quality of work. The first two *ords we bought used and had no leaks, no rattlles and nothing fell off when you drove them. Those are simple expectations I have of a vehicle, but GM over the years always dissappointed me in those areas. On our 2 -'89 Suburbans there was always constant rattle, shimmy or shake. Things were always breaking and breaking again.
This is our first "New" vehicle in 12 years.

Well, we've never been accused of running with the "soccer-Mom" type crowd. I just couldn't bring myself to driving arrrrrhhh MMMMini-van! :U :U It'll never happen in this household.
Pat---I may be calling on your expertise in the future.
:D
I feel so guilty, ---I haven't touched the Vette in the last two weeks! I gotta get her out today if only to idle for a while.
