Transmission Fluid Recommendations
What type of fluid do you recommend in a 1974 TH400?
Are there any pros or cons to go with a synthetic or should I stick with Dextron III?

Run Ford Fluid...shifts are very crisp......GM fluid shift smoothly.......however if you're looking for scratching the tires.....Ford fluid is the Best. Just remember to drain all the GM fluid out of the Torque Converter too.

I use Mobil1 synthetic tranny fluid. My tranny builder has given this fluid his endorsment too.
