Default Where is the best place to buy a set of 3.70 gears?

I am looking to purchase a set of 3.70 gears for my 76 coupe that has a strong 383 stroker under the hood.
Where is the best buy, and approx how much?
I would consider a used carrier with good 3.70's in it.
Thanks.

Jeg's has the 3.70 ring and pinion gears for $268.99 which are the Richmond gears. Supposedly the Richmond gears are cut differently to add strength to the gears. If you were looking for an entire case, setup and ready to bolt in you could try Eckler's. They do have a core charge though and are a little on the pricey side.

John,
Check Tom's Differentials and Bair's. I was surprised by the low price for the 3.73:1 ring and pinion from Tom's. $141 and they were Spicer DANA brand.
Tom's Differentials www.tomsdifferentials.com
Bair's www.bairs.com
Both of these businesses provided very quick delivery and good tech advice.

My Spicer DANA differential is a little different than the one in your '76 yet very similar. Here is a link to a thread about my rebuild/gear swap http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=193247

Use the Corvette Forum "Search" and you should be able to find a lot of related information.
