You are looking at a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette. It is not numbers matching. The engine is a rebuilt 1967 350. It has double/camel hump heads. Edelbrock manifold with a 750 Holley. It runs great. Nice rumble at idle, and very smooth down the road. 4 speed with a 3.70 rear. The car steers, turns and brakes as it should. Interior was just completely redone. Looks to be original jack and instructions. Frame and birdcage are in excellent condition. No rust. Before I bought the car, I did not know there could be problems with rust. I found out what to look for AFTER I bought the car, especially the birdcage. I looked up and down, side to side, with a flashlight and mirror. I looked where the door hinges mount, under the dash, behind the heater. It all looks very solid. The car was originally Nassau blue. It also came with power steering, which it does not have now. It has a one-piece front. The headlights now shine thru the grill. The body has a couple small cracks. The body/paint are NOT perfect, but they are in very good condition. Rear bumpers still have GM part sticker on them. The car is a GREAT driver. Wheels are from a 1967 corvette. Center caps and trim rings are ORIGINAL GM PARTS. I do have the ORIGINAL 1966 Corvette wheel covers that will go with the car. Top is in very good condition with one small tear at the seam under window. Rear window is clean and clear. All gauges work except the speedometer. New cable has been installed, and I have a new gear for the transmission, but the exhaust has to come down to get to it, and I have not found the time yet. Gas gauge does not read correctly. ALL LIGHTS WORK…Interior, dash, radio, heater controls, clock, brake and turn signals.
It gets looks and thumbs-up where ever I take it. It has won many awards at local car shows. I have kept a logbook of everything I have done to the car, and I have kept ALL receipts.
Here are some of the things that are new, or very close to being new.

Thanks, kinda on the fence about selling. I sold a streetrod to buy this about four years ago. Got the streetrod bug again. I have a 1978 for sale also. It's in the C3 section under "for sale". I want to sell one or the other. (gotta make the wife happy)

The picture with the GM label is from under both rear buimpers. Looks like wiring harness is still there for headlight buckets,

I'm interested...
What would it take to change those headlights back to factory? What kind of cost is there? Also, was anything modified to relocate the headlights to where they currently reside?
Thanks,
Jared

I asked that question, here, a couple months back. The guess was 8 to 10k to put it back. Nothing was modified. Whoever did it did a nice job. The car really needs nothing. I think it would be a perfect car for somebody looking to get into corvettes without spending a lot of money, or looking for a daily driver. I use it every weekend.
