I was driving down the 401 today and saw the lovely lines of a C3 coming towards me?!?!? "Is this guy crazy?" I thought...... Then I see black over silver.... uh oh.... then the chin and tail spoiler comes into view..... double uh oh....... to make it positive I see the decals on the door as he passes me. I don't know if its a real pacecar but is this guy crazy? I mean snow storm conditions driving a vette plus the salt on the roads.

I just about freaked, my friend with me just laughed his a__ off at me as I'm calling the guy every explitive in the book.

Anybody still drive their car regularly in the snow? This guy wasn't caught by surprise, there has been salt on the roads for a week and the forecast said snow? these people drive me crazy!

Apparently there's one person out there that does, you saw him. It's a shame that he would take a pace car or any other vette out in that kind of weather unless he has nothing else to drive. What a way to ruin a nice car. :eek:

Believe it or not, lots of people think cars (even Corvettes) are meant to be driven every day...... Maybe they are the ones who have a "grasp on reality" while others seem to think all Corvettes are "works of art" only to be seen and not driven. Differing points of view - live and let live, eh?

Driving a Vette every day is one thing. Driving it in the salt is another!

But he is forgiven if his Honda is broken and the Vette is doing backup duty...

I had to drive mine one winter when I trashed my daily driver. We had several ice storms that winter, and it did better than the FWD car I have now. :confused:

hey more power to him..its amazing how you guys are like oh my god you drive that in the winter..uh since 1953 when they started selling corvettes your telling me everyone put these cars away and didnt drive them at all in the snow or in the rain or in the winter?vettes are made to be driven,i use my car everyday ..i just wash the hell out of it when it snows.ok now if it was a 427 tripower vette or something super rare then its a different story.i love driving mine in the snow handles way better then our pathfinder.
