Performer manifold and holley carb will it fit??
My q-jet just crapped out this past week. It is spilling fuel everywhere. I have been wanting to upgrade to a holley carb I just need to know if it will fit on an edelbrock performer manifold.

Are there any problems with vacuum leaks or the sort? A friend of mine told me that the manifold would not properly mount with the carb and cause a vacuum leak. I just want to make sure it can be done before I order my carb.

I have seen and heard Alwyn's car .. and it works perfectly!
Hopefully mine will be running just as good by Saturday (with a Demon 650)

You are running the performer that is cut out the the q-jet? I was just reading about what the other people posted an they are runn rpm's and a torker 2. What gasket did you use to seal the carb to the intake a square bore style or a spread bore??

If you are putting a square bore carb onto the spread bore manifold then buy the adapter plate, ( @ 7.00 ). I have one on my car and don't have any vacuum problems. If you don't use the adapter plate then the sealing area between the carb and manifold is VERY THIN in a couple of spots and is prone to having or developing vacuum leaks.

I am running a Performer (2101) and a Holley 4175 (650cfm vacuum secondaries) works fine.
