We are getting a lot of questions about the Best Buy Dyno Challenge.

"Why would I want to run on the dyno if some guy with 1000+ HP is going to come in and win anyway?"
"Why dyno in the heat, if I will get better numbers in the Fall when its cooler outside?"
"Isn't there already a Dyno event in August at Corvettes At Carlisle?"
"What is the point, I already know what my car will do?"

The Best Buy Dyno Challenge is different in that it is not just a competition to see who makes the most horsepower. Before your dyno pulls you will be challenged to estimate your RWHP prior to you run on the dyno. The challenge is to specify a RWHP as close as possible to your actual numbers for the day. The person closest to estimate, without going over, is the challenge winner - Price Is Right style.

There is more to this competition than just RWHP.
Its best to know how your car will perform in all seasons.
There are dyno events around the country every part of the year.
This is a charity event, and we want people to come out and have fun.

Best Buy will present a number of prizes in the form of $250 and $100 gift cards for the challenge HP category and the highest RWHP category. There will also be a trohphy or plaque for all winners. Please take the time to sign up now, spaces are limited.

Sunny skies. High around 85F. Weather.com says less than 10% chance of rain. And of course free chili dogs and root beer.
