Default Wishing Lars well....

I sent Lars (THE master of all things carb) an email this morning about a re-building of my q-jet..Got a response saying that as of July 1, 2008 he was no longer accepting carbs or distributors for rebuild due to new schedule constraints, but much more important, just to take some time for himself and enjoy life.....I really admire him for that....I know I try to do the same whenever I can these days, and I fully plan to do just that in about nine years when I get to retire. (I'll only be 49, too!) Here's wishing Lars the best

Kick your feet up Lars and enjoy life. Sounds like you richly deserve it.

Maybe he's writing his memoirs?

Don't be a stranger Lars.

If indeed he is cutting back I wish Lars well. There comes a time when every day should be a weekend. It used to be called Freedom 55 and that was my plan (and it worked).

Lars,
I hope that you will still consider a few "Tuning For Beer" tours in the future. Your chalk talk and actual carburator tear downs are such excellent educational tools for the great unwashed our here in Vetteland.

Hope to see you next March when I am out that way.

Default Missed Chance

Good luck Lars on R & R. I hope one of your faithful followers picks up the torch and continues your work when I am ready for my carb and distributor rebuilds for my '78. Someone I can trust to dial me in.

Okay, this is terrible news.
$4.00 a gallon gas is no problem.
Big problem with no Lars.
