Sales Tax and Disposal Fees at the Tire Rack ?????
Anybody else notice this?
Your local tax rate and a $2.00 disposal fee apparently now applies to all sales. Was gonna order a set but now not so sure. Will speak to them by phone tomorrow and see what they say.

UPDATE:
Just found out that the Tire Rack has warehouses in Shreveport, LA; South Bend, IN; and Sparks, NV; so the residents of these states wil have to pay the tax and fees, residents of states where they do not have a physical location will not.

They can't hit out of state with a sales tax. I live near the Tire Rack in Sparks Nevada, but the disposal charge is legit somehow. It a federal fee of some sort now imposed on all new tires. Paid up front not when you get rid of them.
