Default Chambered exhaust

I am starting to receive my christmas gifts this year ( cash for vette stuff ) and am considering chambered exhaust from mid-america.
Does any one have experience with this sytem as far as how well does it fit and what are any negatives I should be aware of ? Thanks

mine fit pretty good. I have it coming out back straight without turndowns. Had to devise my own hangers
and also had an H pipe installed. Took out some of the high notes and left a nice low rumble.
It's loud at WOT but thats why I own a vette. Steve

I got mine from MAD too. $299 I think. There's nothing like the chambered sound. They might seem a bit harsh at first, but I think after a year now they're starting to mellow a bit at idle.

I had to expand two of the pipe ends to fit perfectly. You can buy or rent a tail pipe expander....it really wasn't a big deal. I also needed to cut about 1/4 into the exhaust/manifold clamp. I used a new heat riser spacer and I just couldn't get all three bolts to line up perfect. Again this was pretty much a straight forward bolt-on.

You can check-out the chambered exhaust page at my site below for more info. :yesnod:

the 2 1/2" chambered kit from mid America is 2 1/2" up to the exhaust tips. The stock tips are 2" so the kit reduces down to 2" at the tips.
