Merry Christmas all - ps. Need some upholstry advice.
Hey all I got a quote from a custom coach interior place of $7-800 Cdn to redo my seats, including foam and top grain leather. Is this a good deal or am I better off buying from Corvette America or any other suggestions. Also will be ordering a top from Al Knock and some NQP interior (dash pad) things from C. A. I hope all of you have a great Christmas and a fantastic New Year.

I think I paid nearly $600 US for seat covers and foam (AL Knock). Sounds like a good deal.

Sounds like a good deal for me too.
Do they have any references in the area? What covers will they use? Check out this first - its important!
You can do the seats yourself - its not this complicated, but its a longer job and requires some patience.
I once did it myself and all the fellow Vetters were impressed - took about two days, but paid off!
Check for reference!!! My strong advice!

CA did my seats and they are beautiful. They also fixed the frames and replaced some hardware at no extra charge.

.....seems to be a lot of disparity on seat-covering price and how they are recovered. In Tennessee I paid $750 ea. to have my seats completly re-upholstered in leather (not just a slip-on type deal). The high-quality leather hides I used cost $350/seat by itself. It all looks great, and the smell of all-leather is absolutely heaven even though I had to skip lunch for 6 months to pay for it! Kind regards, and Merry Christmas to all in Canada!

gdh,
Got the whole inerior pacakagefor my 74 plus the seat covers installed for about $1000. This was leather seat covers and the seat were back in less then 2 weeks. This deal was 2 years ago from Corvette America. I was happy with everything except the quality of the rugs. They were very thin compared to the originals.

Sounds pretty high to me, but I'm not up on the exchange rate. Try the following vendor http://www.yankeelady.com/willcox/ they have really good prices.
