Considering selling '95 6-speed, 29k miles
UPDATE : I'm selling my '95 Corvette Coupe, 6-speed, Arctic White w/Black Leather Interior, with just over 29k miles in PRISTINE condition. The car is completely stock with the exception of a Borla stainless steel exhaust system which produces a nice exhaust note. The car is not just "Clean", it Looks, Drives, & even Smells "NEW". Update $15,900.

Thanks coltcarbine for the kind words! I'm surprised no one has any interest in the car. I would also consider trades for a '68-'72 Corvette, w/manual transmission and low miles in excellent condition. Love the chrome bumper cars!

Beautiful car, I had a 91 with the see through top; does yours come with two tops? Good luck with the sale.

To get a C5 for $15K plan on a high mileage and most likely salvage car. He has a low mileage pristine 6 speed car. You might get an 01 oil burner Z06 ran hard for low 20's, but I wouldn't count on an equivalent condition / mileage one for $20K for a while.

Well since somebody did open up the price issue, and only because you did ask what we think, I would agree that you are still a couple grand too high for the market. Maybe if it was a vert, but even then it would still be on the high side. From the pics. it looks like a beautiful car, and you can always ask what you would like, but I believe your price is the reason for the lack of interest. Good luck.

I appreciate all of your opinions and thank you for the kind words! As far as the price that I'm asking, I've looked at probably over 500 vettes before and after purchasing this rare find and I think its priced right for the person that wants perfection... like me. I was willing to pay a premium for a Pristine, low mile car and I believe there are folks like myself out there that will do the same. I will consider reasonable offers.

It is true that it is hard to get that kind of $ out of a C4.
BUT if you look at that car, it looks brand new and there is a buyer for that car at his asking price. It's just not going happen overnight and the car will have to be marketed quite abit. That is the type of Car that Roger's Corvettes would sell and his price would be even higher.
The real problem lies in that alot of people really like the C5 and if they put another 5,000 or 6,000 into it, they can get a nice C5 instead of the more dated C4.

Sorry for the hijack on this thread, but I just can't let this comment go. I've been shopping for a C5 or a C5Z for several months to replace my C4, and there are cars out there in good condition for these prices. Keep in mind that asking and buying price are usually different, especially in today's market. You can get an absolute creampuff C5 for less than $20K. And I personally know of a low-miles C5Z (2003) that just went for $25K. His asking price was more like $30k...
To the seller, if you're ok waiting for the right buyer then no problem, enjoy your car until it sells. I just wanted to give you a little feedback based on what I've been seeing over the last few months.

If you are thinking of putting your car for sale and ask for opinions - expect to get them. My fellow forum members can be a rough crowd sometimes, but they all love Corvettes in their own special way.
I would suggest, as already stated above, that you start a new "for sale" thread to avoid any more of the price comments.

I appreciate All the comments! The car speaks for itself, it will either sell or not! Like I said, I'm not in any real hurry to sell her... With each day that goes by, I question whether or not I should be selling such a beautiful automobile! Thanks All.

Not to mention when I take the top out and cruise.
I think I'll keep her!
