Default Pic's of new Paint Job!

Well, finally I'm close to complete with the paint job. I'm still going to wet sand the rear bumper cover again so I haven't installed the Corvette letters. All in all I'm happy, but what alot of work. Start to finish it took 4 months working most week-ends. But it sure feels good to drive around.

I would like to thank Lars for his help. I never would have taken on a project like this without his article on Corvette painting. It seamed like I emailed him many times to ask questions and he always replied. Thanks Lars.

an already stunning car, turns into a show car... that paint looks great... you think it would go well with a blue interior?

I know how you feel when you finished your car, all your free time working on your car. But after all the work is done sit back with a cold one and pat yourself on the back on a job well done. I'm glad to see there are people out there not affraid to tackle a paint jb. http://'http://temp.corvetteforum.ne...et1//hardwork3

Good job Paul. Lars helped me do the same. He saved me thousands, and I learned volumes. Another forum paint job for the record. :)

Great job. :) Looks really nice. I painted mine in two weeks, that was ***** to the wall, sanding/fiberglass repair everyday after work, and lots of weekend work. :)

Paul,

Your car looks great. That is the color I want to go with for my '71. What is the name of it and do you have the codes?

Thanks,
Wade

Very nice looks, Paul!

It makes a perfect pic with the Palms in the background!
I like it very much, I own a 77 too and it always remembers me of my holidays in Florida which have been too long ago...... :cry
