Default Up On J-Stands Question

My baby is up on stands, probably for most of the winter for some suspension restoration and trans/oil pan gasket replacement etc.. . Do you guys recommend supporting the trailing arms and control arms up front to take some tension off other components? If so.. how high. Rims will be off being blasted and painted too. I'm going to replace this stuff over a period of time, or as long as the kerosene fuel for the heater holds out!! Wudd-e-ya think Hey?? Thanks for your always great advise :yesnod:

I'd say it would be prudent to block under the a-arms and trailing arms to keep the suspension from hanging loose, so to speak. Only makes sense; suspension was designed to support weight of the car rather than swinging at the bottom of travel.

So you have a problem with diesel fumes but not kerosene fumes? Hmmmmm. Try furnace oil; same price as diesel and shouldn't fume you out.
