Default camshaft install

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to swap cams in my 77 L48 without removing the radiator?
Thanks

i think you have to remove the rad, i dont think you have to pull the support, though i could be mistaken...

Just the radiator. If A/C the condenser will swing out of the way.

the lower line on the condensor in my 77 is hard lined in...I dunno how much swinging it will do before it does bad things. I was wondering this same thing...does anyone know if the lower line is high or low pressure? if low could I cut about 5" out of the metal line and put in about 6" of rubber hose, so I could swing it out of the way if I ever wanted to do a cam swap??

I think I could do it if it was low pressure, but Im sure its high pressure, why else would it be hard line?

Yes the radiator will have to come out and u may as well take the hood off as well to ease your access to everything

I don't think you can go to a rubber line on any of the AC system unless it has fittings on the ends of it. If you try and hose clamp it, it will blow off. Maybe braided hydraulic line?
