Hey group,
I know this is offtopic, but I wanted to tell everyone that a new member has been born into the Corvette Community. Last week my daughter and her husband presented my wife and I with our first Grandchild. You'll never find two happier people. Yes, I have already bought him his first toy Corvette. Here is a picture of my grandson A.J. Leikam, my wife and I.

as for the toy vette, you gotta start them younge...when my sister had her baby, I had a toy corvette delivered full of flowers. The delivery person showed up like 5 minutes after he was born. So my nephew got his first vette at 5 minutes old. Lucky SOB. :jester

Congratulations!!! :cheers: :cheers: That's got to be a heck of a feeling. As my dad approached 50, he began to complain to my mother that he wanted some grandkids. As luck would have it , he was holding my first son less than a year later. To top it off, my wife and I decided to name our first after him. He is the happiest guy in the world when he plays with my two sons(now 8 and 6).

My grandaughter is 3 1/2 and has had her red Barbie Corvette (C4) for some time. I taught her to say Corvette as soon as she started talking. And she wants a Red Helmet when she goes riding on the Harley.

Hopefully I won´t have any grandchildren the next decade - my son just turned 8 years :D but nevertheless your X-mas gift is great!
