Default Mygm Link

The Mygm link website has signed up with yahoo. They've deleted all the service records and other info from the site. I was keeping track of all my oil changes and other vette history on the site and they've gone and deleted all the records. Kind of sucks.

Phuckers!!

I just tried it and it said it was tranferring all my service history then said SORRY. Kiss my AZZ.

Edit: It finally found my vehicle but you are right - no service history was carried over. What a bunch of clowns!

I concur. The jokers at MyGM have always been second rate. Their site was utterly useless before and I won't go through the hassle of reentering my vehicle maintenance history all over again just because they're not tech savy enough to transfer a database.

Shame on you mygmlink.com!

I just checked My GMLink for the information that had been entered for my car and its all there, including the Service History. It doesn't look any different than it has in the past and there were no messages or notes about any changes.

Just tried to access records and it wanted to transfer the records. After logging into Yahoo it can't find anything to transfer by either address or VIN. Last year I couldn't get mygmlink to accept the new c6 until I called the 800 number. Maybe a few thousand calls to 1.866.694.6546 will get them to fix this database transfer also.

What a joke!!! They transferred my 2003 Buick records, but did not transfer my Corvette records. For the Buick, they show 1969 service dates. I am abandoning this site.

I only visited the mygm site a few times. Maybe I just never gave it a chance but I always thought the site was pretty much worthless (I never use Yahoo either). I'm sure GM saved a buck by passing the site off to Yahoo and Yahoo will generate some ad revenue by hosting it. It's a shame they failed to transfer your service information...one useful function of the site and they blow it.

Same way here. They added my wife's Pontiac Vibe, but not my C6. Even her Vibe just had mileage & cost of each dealer service. I would have had to edit each of those records and reenter what services were performed.

Even when I tried to enter my C6 by VIN, it gave me the correct VIN for a prompt, but they couldn't tell me the model or make of the car after I entered it.

They've lost me, too.

Shame on you mygmlink.com! AND GM!

I just tried on the new site and it could not find my vehicle. I called the 800 number twice and both times after selecting English it switched to spanish and then hung up!

Same thing for me. It can't find anything(car, onstar account) and I had the same issue last year when I bought the car. What a complete waste of time.

The site appears the same to me! All of my data is there! What worry's me now, is the transfer has not been completed and later on I will get the same results as the OP.

it gets better, I've called the 866 # 3 times now and every time you press 1 to get help with registration, it play a message in spanish and hangs up on you.

Same here. They're trying to reduce the phone bill. My spanish is a little rusty but I think the lady is saying "We can't afford you stupid gringos calling to register on a system that is totally lame and that we don't even care if it works or not. Get lost, Gabacho."

Instead of saying or pressing 1 (or 2 if you speak spanish) just press the "0" several times. The system sounds like it will transfer you to a real person. But wait until after the offices open on Monday. Let us know how you make out.

What a joke!

It found no information for my vehicle either. Fortunately I don't log my service there, I just keep a file folder with all the info. and receipts. I did check it out occasionally to see what was logged by the dealer(s) and for recalls.

Guess I'll just forget about it.

What a **ity thing to do. Shame on you, GM!

Why in the world would you spend all the time and money developing and encouraging the use of the center and then go and outsource it to an outside company like Yahoo?
