what car do you use as a substitute for the c3s not being in the program and what weight do you put in?

The '95 Corvette in there is pretty close. You can weigh your car at a truck weigh station for the weight...Just on the raw measurements, the car has approximately 18-22 sqft of frontal area, and roughly a 49% drive wheel weight ratio (with driver, and a small block). Drag coeff is somewhere around a .30, I'll have to see if some of this aeronautics stuff they taught me can actually give me that number. :smash:

This is taken from "THE CORVETTE BLACK BOOK". 1980 page.
"The integrated spoilers improved the drag coefficient from .503 to .443 compared to the 1979 model equiped with optional, non-integrated spoilers."
Kind of like a barn door compared to todays mid size 4 door sedan. At least they LOOK fast!
