How do I use PPG DX330???
It's the wax and grease remover. Of course, if you know how to use it, then you already know that. :D Do I just wipe it on with a clean rag?

Thank you. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't more to it that I was missing. It sure would be nice if they would put some directions on this stuff.

Hi,
This is how we did it to my car. My buddy wiped it on while I wiped it with a clean rag. Did not allow it to dry between first and second wipes. Something like the first wipe brings the contaminates to the service while the second wipe cleans them off. Used a lot of clean rags.

Absolutely do not let it dry,,,while it's wet it holds the contaminents in suspension so you can remove them with another clean rag :yesnod:

Here's a really cool trick that the PPG tech rep guy showed me: Buy one of those garden sprayers - you know - the kind you pump the handle up and down on to pressurize the weed killer. Put your DX330 in it, pump it up, and you can "mist" it onto your car for a perfect application. Then just take your clean rags and wipe it off. Cuts time and effort in half.

Also.... It may not apply in your case but you should use it or any degreaser BEFORE doing any sanding. You do not want to sand wax and grease into the surface. Do not use it just before you apply the color coats or top coats as it might show "wipe" marks in the finish... I've seen that happen.

Thanks guys. I kind of thought just wiping it around with one rag didn't seem like it would do much. I guess that's why I asked. I found out a guy has to hustle with that stuff too. It evaporates kind of quick.
