Is there a instruction manual for the interiors of '68-'69 Vettes?
I would like to start restoring the interior of my '68 convertible and I need the instructions on how to take some of the stuff like the door panels apart. Is there a place on the internet where I can just print them off?

Don't know about the Internet, but the AIM...Assembly Instruction Manual for 68 will tell you everything you need. :) Hope this helps. Chuck

Chuck is correct about the AIM.
You could also post specific questions here on the forum and you will get help.
In terms of how something should appear after restoration, if you are seeking originality, then the NCRS Judging Guide will be helpful to steer you in the right direction to be sure you end up with the correct result rather than doing all the work and not getting things to look as they should. Again, many here on the forum probably have that material if you do not have it.
There's lots of good help here on the Forum and between us combined we probably have most of the books that are written on the various subjects you will encounter.

The Assembly manual will show you HOW it goes together but not what screws and fasteners to use unless you can translate the GM part numbers.

I agree with Chuck. He knows his stuff. Order the AIM for your year. I recommend getting one of those large, 3"-5" D-ring binders to go with it. When the AIM arrives, put it in the binder, then sit down and read it. :)

I have the GM parts book that was used over the counter before the days of everything on computer. It goes from 53-74, I think that there is a section of just part numbers that cross-reference to a section and page, but I would have to look at it and make sure.

Get an AIM or Email me. I'm in the middle of redoing the interior on my own '68, covertable. It's amazing how big a mess it is with the whole interior and dash out.

I got my AIM from ZIP. Their catalog is online, and they had it to me in less than 1 week.

Nearly all of the vendors sell AIM's for your specific year. ZIP is a great company. Order from them. Cost is usually about $20.00 +/-. These AIM's are all copies of the Assembly Manuals used on the line where your car was built. They are extensive, showing virtually EVERY aspect of the assembly of your car from body bonding to interiors. In the back are the sections on options, like PS, PB. These books are absoutely essential to own before you undertake any project on your car. As others have pointed out, various fasteners are referred to by their part number, and you have no cross reference to say it's a WB bolt, a TR bolt, or a Phillips head screw or a Clutch head screw, etc. Chuck
