Default Project shark

I have been giving this more thought:

My dream shark:

1. start with 1974 body( i like the fast back roof better than the green house) and title (NO emissions, or cat)

2. either a 77 rear bumper with the optional 79-80 spoiler or the 80 rear bumper.

3. 1980 front clip and bumper

4. 1979 hood

5. aftermarket frame that uses all the C4 suspension and running gear. Z51 suspension parts, and the larger front brakes.

5a. better yet fined a wrecked C5 with the Z51 package and get the front and rear suspension assemblies with the rack, transaxle, torque tube and clutch, etc.

Have a custom tube frame with full roll cage tied into front and rear clips built to accept these C5 parts. I know racing fabricators who build race cars that if i provided the suspension unitsa nd a blue print would do this job for less than $2000.00.

6. 1990 up 6 speed, if you use the C4 chassis

7. nice 17" wheels or the wheels from the C5.

8. fast burn 385 or killer BB of your choice

8a. The LS1 from that wrecked C5 instead, if so don’t need #9, and 10.

9. LPE TP fuel injection setup? or carb and intake?, (your choice)

10. Reworked HEI or MSD or other ignition of your choice

11. I think i would make the nose one piece tilt forward like the C4? not sure, what do you guys think?

12. nice gauges. Custom cluster?

13. Nice seats , maybe from a C4 or C5, and 6 point harness

What have i left out?

What do you think of my dream shark?

What would you do different?

I know i got to much time to think on my hands, but i can't help it

A lot of us are building our "dream cars". You may as well join the club. :) Sometimes mine is a dream, sometimes its a nightmare.
