What the heck is a throttle kickdown bracket?

call Summit for the number. The kickdown bracket is for the carb attach linkage? You may not need it with just the trans kit and no other changes.

ya, I know that the kickdown bracket has something to do with the linkage. But can anybody tell me what it does? I hope it somehow helps with acceleration.
