What's the deal with 2 seats?
I live in truck central. It's a major truck stop! The town can be said to have a MAJOR backwater hillbilly personality where the south supposedly shall rise again. But anyways! My 1979 Vette is rather rare in this area and it stands out...or sits low against the mobs of semi trucks and pickups. Most of the time people are fascinated by the car and like to get a closer look. Amazingly it never fails...the biggest most outspoken comment about my car is "What?! It only has two seats?" or "Two seats? Your car isn't big enough for me, must be rather cramp in there" I mean come on...all your trucks only fit 2 people maybe 3 if you squeeze the person in, but really it's a sporty car and a vette with a back seat would be.... :U I just had the same comment at the gas station earlier...
Person: Beautiful car what is it?
Me: It's a vette an older one, 1979 to be exact.
Person: Wow, it looks so modern, may I look inside?
Me: Sure go ahead
Person: Only 2 seats? Why does it only have 2 seats?
Me: *Shakes head* It's a vette that's why.
Not to mention some girl had the nerve to say "It's an ugly car" while she pats her UNIQUE one of a KIND sporty RED 95' Mustang or was it 93' I can never tell, they all look alike to me. I would take a Shebly GT 500 or a BOSS! Maybe a nice Mach 1....naw I love my Vette to death.

The comment I get from pickup drivers is, "What good is your Vette? You can't haul anything with it!". To which I counter, "Oh really? I haul one thing with my car......I haul behind!!". That usually ends the conversation.

I had someone make the comment "how are you expecting to go somewhere with more then 1 other person?"...I reply "Im not" end of conversation.
Anyway, if more then one person wants to go with me somewhere, they'll be fallowing in a different car. I don't allow anyone to smoke, eat, or drink in my car, so no one wants to ride with me anyway. :jester
