what is annapolis.net
Can someone tell me what this is. When I click on this discussion http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=202377 I get a box that says enter your name and password. Is this just me or what. What is it?

We usually blame Juliet for this problem!! :) but I dont see her reply in that thread. Could be the 70 registry logo that Warp has in his sig.... annapolis.net is Juliet's host. MJ

When I tried to get into it, it let me in fine. It's a thread about what various forum members do for their vocations and their job titles.

Re: what is annapolis.net (MNJack)
That makes sense to me, but if that were the case than it should be doing it on all of the threads that I have responded too. Besides I got it too before I ever responded on that thread so I'm innocent honest :blueangel:

Thanks guys.
Yes, So Sorry about that annoying Pop-Up. Annapolis Internet did something to the web pages. I just got off the phone with the tech guys over there - they should have "Un-Fixed" whatever they screwed up by later this evening - In theory. It's because of the photo in my signature file was moved (along with my whole web page) behind their firewall, instead of being out in the open on the web. Grrrr.... this is the second time this happened. At least this time it's a Monday - Not a Friday NIght like last time, when I can't get anyone one the phone! . Just hit the cancel button. PITA I know, I'm really sorry about the inconvenience. ~Juliet

Thanks Mark. Glad you're on top of things. :)
Sorry about that folks. :( Yes, it's my ISP's fault. Someone in the '70 Registry who replied to that thread must still have their signature pointing to the OLD logo on my annapolis.net web page. Members should be using the corvette forum logo location instead: http://www.corvetteforum.net/c3/1970...y/70member.jpg
The avatar is on the forum site so that's not what's causing the problem - it's the one in the signature. At any rate, it's fixed now, or so it would appear. ~Juliet
