Default Wiper motor removal

Whats involved in removing the wiper motor? Does the glove box need to come out ?

Yes - there are four hex-head screws that secure the motor to the firewall.

When I do mine I take off the shielding and the distributor cap. Then I stuff a rag between the distributor and the wiper motor. That keeps the wiper motor from falling out when you get it unbolted.

Doing the same when reinstalling the wiper motor makes it an easy one man job.

Just be careful when you take the clip
that holds the rods to the shaft so that
you don't drop it and it goes down behind
the console. Don' ask me how I know.
