Default Frame Surgery Complete ... and the patient survives?

My ever faithful webmistress finally (now that her qualifying exams are over) updated the web pages to show the frame surgery to get the left and right wheelbase on my '65 to be the same length (for those that were following the discovery, the factory caefully assembled the frame with the left frame rail 3/8" behind the right). Being a true "you might as well" person, I also took the opportunity to stretch the wheelbase to get a more aesthetic fit of the front tires to the wheel opening (or at least start on that modification).

ANyway, you can check out what happens if you leave a sawsall unattended in the garage with your Corvette by clicking on the signature link.

Nah, he didn't. :D The C2 and C3 frames and suspension are just about identical. ;) I asked him to post this to C3 too since I'm always being asked about how his project is coming along. You guys see why I don't let him near my '70? :jester

juliet

I have those clock internal pictures you wanted, but the computer I download my pictures on is sick and in the shop. Its being reformatted, it had like 3 viruses or something. It was out of my league.

Anyway, when ti gets back and I get the software installed in it again, I'll load them and send them to you if you still want them.

Greg; You could be a circle tracker with very little effort. I've seen a lot of the precise "factory fabrication"

Good Catch! Nicely done!! :D

Daniel, definately yes when you get time. :) No rush though, when ever it's convenient for you. I don't dare take anything apart on the '70 until I get the '87 back up and running. Thanks. ~Juliet

I can get you photo's, but Im still working on a "how to get it working"...I tried the cleaning and oiling, its was a no go, but might work for you. My car likes to put up a fight for every little thing. The forum members have :blueangel: cars. Mines the :reddevil , there is no such thing as an easy fix on mine. I guess its paying back for years of misshandling, but it needs to realize it wasn't my fault. :jester

I'll get them when the other PC gets back, hopefully this week.

Lookin' good, Greg! One thing's for sure: This'll be the most "No Flight" Vette ever conceived... Also may be one of the most fun. Keep us posted on your progress.
