Default driveshaft headaches.

I picked up my shortened driveshaft today and it looked great. Got a new front yoke for the T56, new spicer u-joints and had it shortened to 28.25 center to center. I went to install it and found out that with the front yoke already on, it would not fit. I couldn't get it far enough back to slide into the tranny. I had to lift the engine and trans and slide them forward to get it in there. I thought it would be so easy. I guess nothing is as easy as it looks.

Default Re: driveshaft headaches. (70 LS1)

That happened a couple weeks back, I think the guy that it happened to ended up sliding the engine/tranny foward and loosened up the rear crossmember and shoved back the rearend to get the driveshaft in place.
