What is my original 69 (427 L-36) motor and tranny worth to sell
I usually use the screen name 69 N.O.X. RATT but had to use this name to get on. I am running a built 454 in my 69. The other day a guy asked me what I would sell the 427 out of my car for. The motor is an original 427 numbers to a 69 427 (Numbers do not match my car) and so is the tranny. The motor is a .060 over with about 7,000 miles on a complete rebuild. The heads are very fresh, less than 100 miles on ALL new parts, including hardened valve seats. The tranny is an M-20.
The guy wants it to run a 69 Chevelle, so the 69 part is attractive to him. I am considering selling this set up, what would you guys ask for it if it was yours.
