Interesting, I didnt think the atomization on the earlier ones were that bad.

There is always some atomization in all injectors due to the high nozzle pressure. If you look closely at the spray cone the center is liquid. The sides are atomized. The heavy droplets floating around in the video will go into the cylinder and end up un burned. The excess liquid fuel will give you bore wash, clogged cats and poor economy.

I just want to say that I purchased a set of injectors from Jon at FIC earlier this month because of info he posted in a thread a while back. I ordered them and had them in my hands in about 4 days. Nice looking set for my LT1. They work great!! The idle improved, no more hesitation, no more leaking injectors and best of all - no more hard, hot starts! Jon and his family run an honest and reputable business. Would recommend his products to anyone and everyone. Great price too! Anyone that is looking for an alternative to spending a fortune on injectors should see him first.

Interesting, I see why so many are not pleased with servicing an older injector.

I am very impressed with the newer Bosch. The technology has improved a great deal over the years.

I too, need a set of injectors for my 89 and I contacted Jon. He really knows his stuff. I got my injectors in two days and he mad a follow-up call to see how things were going. He spent no less than a hour on the phone explaining the injectors, the installation process, and general information as well. It is not often that you get such excellent service with a personal touch as well. I would highly recommend anyone to him without reservation. He stands behind his products, has alot of patience, and is a wealth of knowledge.
