Default Pictures of my car when it ran [14pics, beware!]

These photo's were taken in July of 2000 when I travelled to South Dakota for the Black Hills Corvette Classic. Excellent trip, I highly suggest it if you've never been.
PS: The guy laying on the hood isn't me and no, he didn't get heck. The paint actually isn't that great.

I added a couple of more pictures that got missed. I couldn't resist adding the last one. Some kids must have been having fun at a construction site.

I gotta tell you Aaron, every time I see your car I'm more and more inclined to go with 17" wheels when the time comes for new tyres on mine.
Of course that's to say nothing of that 6 point rear suspension you have espcially with the similarity bewtween the Canadian and Australian $. Btw, what is the latest value on the C$ compared to the US$?

Cappy: The pin stripes were on the car when I bought it. I think they were put on in the early 80's. I didn't like them at first but they've grown on me.:)

Brutus: There's some great deals to be had on Corvette's in Canada. Our dollar isn't worth much right now so people from the U.S. can get some pretty sweet deals.

Lasse: What's wrong with it? Everything. It started with a simple head job, then rings, then cam.....now the differential is in pieces, interior gutted and i'm out of money to put it back together! Hopefully by spring i'll have some more greens to get the project rollin again.

He got me off the line but I got him by about half a car length. It was only an 1/8 track so in reality he would have taken more of a licken. I don't think there was anyone running fast that day, the Z06 was only running 8.7 or 8.8 or something. That's lilke a high 13! It was hot and steamy out and the track was all slippery. Definetly not a good day...for anybody.

i'm usually not a fan of 17" wheels on a C3, but your car is an exception because it is lowered. i love the stance, esp with the 74-77 body.

Those wheels are like my first born. I don't have alot of money so for me to go out and pay 1800 for wheels and 1300 for tires was a big step. I was unsure of how they would look once installed. I played around with some editing software to get an idea but the moment of truth came when they got mounted for the first time. It's amazing the attention I got at shows and from other Corvetter's.
