Pass it up and quit thinking about it. :)

If its too cheap to pass up....Don't.
Even if you don't want to keep it, you can fix it up a little and sell it for a profit. Then, use the profit to buy something for your C3.

My first car was a '68 Charger RT with a 440 magnum. It's still the fastest car I've ever driven.

I had a 69 Charger and loved it. Fast as a mother. The 73s had more pollution stuff and a heavier body. My only concern is that they don't appreciate in value like the 68 to 70 models.

Buy it if it's a good deal. Variety is the spice of life. The fastest street car around here is a blown 440. 9.30's exactly as he drives it on the street.

I had a gold 69 Charger with 318, auto on a console, in high school. An absolutely beautiful car! But, my friend Randy had a gold 72 or 73 Charger with the 440. Boy was I envious! If he has the motor properly built to restore what smog regs took out, this would be a great car - at least in a straight line. As I recall, the tail is awfully light.
