Water pump went out!
Sorry to sucker you guys in but its on my 1995 Fix Or Repair Daily Probe GT.
It is really going to be a PITA to change out. You have to remove the MOTOR MOUNT and all the belts including the timing belt covers and belts. I am still contemplating on doing the work myself or taking it somewhere. The good thing about it is that I get to drive the Vette while the Probe is down....YEA :yesnod: :yesnod: I am not going to start the work until I get back from Christmas. I hope I get a lift for Christmas now.

Sounds like a good time to change the timing belt, seals, and check for an aftermarket cam & exhaust manifold for that thing. There's a pretty good aftermarket on Probes, isn't there? Isn't there a later model engine swap too?

Other than maintenance, cleaning and detailing, I don't work on my other cars. . . it's not any fun and the amount of time it takes me it's just not worth saving money. :smash:
Check your e:mail, we had a very interesting morning!!!

I think there is a good aftermarket for Probes but I have the Vette and put all my extra cash in it. The Probe is a daily driver so I am going to keep it stock. I'll probally change the timing belts while I am in there seeing that they have 97,000 miles on them    The car still runs great and it is paid for so it will be in the family for a while.
