So I'm installing all of the parts I recently got last night (clutch linkages and rag joint) and I am fighting to get the rag joint aligned. I align the steering wheel correctly and fight some more. Finally I get it all done and button it up. I get in the Vette this AM and what do I see. The steering wheel is on upside down :crazy:

The only thing I can think is that while fighting with the joint I spun the wheel around to align the coupling (not thinking about the wheel alignment). Now the funny thing is that the joint only goes on one way (the blots are different sizes) so I think the part I got had the bolts reversed (this is easy done as the shoulders are the same size). So I'll take partial credit for being the dummy...

Back to the garage tonight... :cry

i did the same thing...except the only way i noticed it is the turning signal cancelers were off

but its an easy job... just loosen the stearing box bolts... and do it again...

If your steering box bolts aren't frozen solid it's easy... It still won't be too bad just not quite as easy...
