Corvette weight

Re: Corvette weight (70BBvert)
I have two numbers:
3720 from Corvette Chronicle by James Flammang
3285 (coupe) from the Corvette Black Book by Mike Antonick
I have no idea what the convertible or BB will subtract or add to those numbers.
I guess you're in a hurry to get it registered, but if you haven't done it, you might want to call 800-222-1020 and ask for a FREE specifications booklet on your Corvette. It's pretty detailed and may have that information.
Oh, FWIW, I've always read that my '77 was one of the heaviest Corvettes ever made and it's supposed to be around 3500 lbs.

3306 for a '71 vert w/std. smallblock according to Dobbins so a BB will add another 300+ lbs so looks like bamavettes # is a winner.

Re: Corvette weight (mdsmith)
my 72 350, 4 spd, A/c coupe weighed 3243 with 1/2 tank of gas as checked at a dragstrip scale. It seemed pretty accurate. My father in law's GTX and my brother in law's Challenger both weighed in around 3900 on the same scale.
