Default Gonna purchase seat belts for 70--need advice

Being "BUBBA" took the original seatbelts out of the car and replaced them with what looks like junk yard belts designed for the big and tall man. They were to long so he just tied knots in them until it fit--gotta love that "BUBBA"

Anyway I contacted snakeoyl products and they sent me a sample of the belt material and the color matches exactly--I still have the original shoulder belts so match was important to me. Anyway they quoted me two prices--for originals about 600 bucks and for the repo's about 300. She also said that only an expert could tell the difference--would one of you kind "EXPERTS" tell me what the difference would be and is the extra money even close to worth it? Thanks

Hey 70 Dave, What color do you need? I have 3 out of the 4 pieces you need in black. Missing is an outer lap belt, both inside buckels are nice with the sleves and the 1 outer belt is nice drive quality. Let me know off line, I ll take alot less than $300 bucks. Thad :blueangel:

Bubba got mine too! I bought a set of lap belts from Paul Borowski here. Work good till I can rig a 5-point harness.

I still can't understand why the belts were removed in the first place
