My trip odometer on my '75 was stuck on 204.0 miles when I bought it. Since then, I have driven it 20,000 miles while it stayed at 204.0. Within the last month, it moved another 11.6 miles to 215.6 miles and is stuck again!! Does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem or how I could fix it?

you can get a new gear for 10 bux at corvette central./..although they are slow

On my first Vette I had to reposition the reset cable behind the dash to get the trip odometer to work. It appeared that the cable was in bind and would not allow the trip odometer drive gear to engage. Once the cable was reposiotned to remove the bind the trip odometer worked great.
The trip odometer in my second 73 does not work. I pulled the dash pad out about 1" and it worked. Once I tightened the pad down the trip odometer stopped working. This is a job to due when I replace the accelerator cable.
